The main reason why I chose this book was because of the cover and the statements the was printed on the cover itself. “10 years ago, he killed my son. Today I married him...” And I thought I was in for a wild ride. But was it truly a wild ride? No. It wasn’t. From the beginning, the lead up was great. Until I got to about half way point. From there on, to me it just seemed to rushed. I started to slowly guess at what was happening and the outcome of certain storylines playing out, which I was right. And when I got to the end, it came out rushed. I wrote notes down while reading it so I could do this review, but if I wrote it all out, it would give too much away, and I don’t like to spoil a book for others. I will say that I am feeling underwhelmed from this book. Maybe it was the wrong first book for me to read by this author who I constantly see all over the place, and I am feeling like maybe I should give a few more of her books a try.

WOW! This book delivered. It was a bit slow in the beginning, but without that character development I think it would have fallen short. Once it picked up, it really picked up and just kept hitting me with twists and turns until the very end! It follows a woman who marries the man that killed her son and the stories that develop when he gets out of jail. I don’t want to talk about the book too much because I don’t want to give anything away. It’s just so good. Read it. trust me, you won’t regret it!
